Mia lost a brother to complications following a bone marrow transplant. She’s very invested in the fight against graft-versus-host disease. This campaign was designed to encourage people with GVHD to keep fighting by reminding them how many people want to see them succeed.

You probably don’t remember, but during the COVID-19 pandemic, lots of wild rumors flew around, fueling skepticism about vaccines and doing a lot of damage. I wrote a 12-part video series, with each video taking on a new internet rumor. Partnered with science influencer Darrion Nguyen for this one. The series won a silver Shorty Award.
